It started with a 996.
And too many open tabs.
A little less searching. A lot more time with the car.

One car.
A thousand opinions.
Where do you start?
I’m a car enthusiast who recently picked up a Porsche 996. Like a lot of owners, I headed online whenever I had a question. There was plenty of information. Finding the right bit was the hard part.
Between forums, manuals and videos, a simple question could turn into hours of searching, reading old threads and piecing together what people had tried. Sometimes it felt like it would be quicker to pull the car apart and figure it out myself.
That’s why I built Fullymatted: an easier way to find the conversations, experiences and references that already exist. Somewhere to search a problem, see what other owners have discussed, and get to the useful details without starting from scratch every time.
More time understanding the car. More time working on it. And, hopefully, more time driving it.
