Removebird droppings immediately,becausethe acids they contain will cause the rubber material to swell and will makethe convertible top leak. Onlyopen the convertibletop when it is completelydry, because otherwise damp stains and abrasions may occur which can not be removedafterwards. In the case of light soiling/alwaysbefore washing,brush the convertible top with a soft brush or with a stiff convertible-top covering (cut out of a replaced convertible-topcovering)in the direction of the cut of the convertible-topmaterial. In order to preventscratches on the flexible rear window, first remove all impurities from the exterior with plenty of water.
