Bearing replacement is not necessary or possible with
2006-2008 model year Boxster, Cayman, or 911.
Engine disassembly is required to change the bearing.
Some late 2005 model year vehicles may have the IMS Retrofit 106-08.30
non-serviceable bearing.
IMS can be updated with IMS Retrofit 106-08.30 or
IMS Solution 106-08.60 while engine is disassembled.
