Accelerator Pedal Potentiometer 1 – Signal Implausi-
ble
Diagnosis conditions
• Ignition on (approx. 30 sec.)
• Battery positive voltage greater than 7 V
Possible fault cause
♦Pedal sensor
Affected terminals

Note!
♦The system operates in pedal sensor standby mode, i.e. the
angle of the accelerator pedal is calculated from the residual
position sensor signal.
♦The maximum pedal value is limited to 30 %.
♦The dynamic is limited.
Diagnosis/Troubleshooting
Work instruction Display OK If not OK
1 Replace pedal sensor → End. → End.
