DME 7.8 DME 7.8 0 0-42.1P0261 Fuel Injector, Cylinder 1 – Below Limit Diagnosis conditions • Engine running • Battery positive voltage greater than 7 V Possible fault cause ♦Short circuit to ground in wiring ♦DME control module Affected terminals Terminal III/41 Note! Short to ground causes the fuel injector to be permanently open. Diagnosis/Troubleshooting Work instruction Display OK If not OK 1 Check fuel injector ♦Remove connector of fuel injec- 11 - 13 Ω Replace fuel injector tor 1 (at 20 °C) → End ♦Connect special tool V.A.G.
