911 (996) Technical Information 56/20 ENU 9112 9 2 Conversion of air-conditioning control panel 2.1 Route wire harness for heating/air-condi- tioning control panel 2.1from the instal- lation opening 2.1in the dashboard to the installation slot 2.1 -C -in the center console and secure it. 2.2 Pull insert sleeves off old trim for heating/air- conditioning control panel and insert them into the heating/air-conditioning control panel 2.2. 2.3 Insert connector into heating/air-conditioning control panel. 2.1 2.4 Insert heating/air-conditioning control panel 2.2 into the lower installation slot of the center console and secure with screws 2.2 -C - . NOTE: Use new screws (Torx 4 x 20, see parts list). 2.5 Insert rear retaining bar 2.2 for PCM2 and secure with screws 3 Remove A-pillar at the right. 2.2 3.1 On all vehicles without M440, route adapter cable from antenna Figure 7 -2- to PCCM Plus radio slot. Disconnect windscreen antenna from the antenna amplifier Figure 7 -2-. Connect Figure 7 -5- windscreen antenna to adapter cable Figure 2 -10-.
