If you had to choose between getting an LSD or a Milltek full exhaust.. which would you choose and why. I'm thinking about both of these but i will probably only end up getting one of them... since money doesnt grow on trees (atleast not the ones by my house). Just some info, I have an 06' Cayman S tip no SCand noPASM, i will be driving the car in the winter (which means it will see snow). Just looking for some opinions.
I am pondering the same thing. I would most likely go for LSD - Quaife ATB when it becomes available for Tip.

I would do the LSD if you are only going to do one or the other, but both would be great.
If you are going to be tracking the car, then based on what I've read here the LSD would be the thing to get. Since you have a tip, I'm guessing that is not the case. The other reason to consider the LSD would be snow traction. I have no experience with the CS in the snow, but based on other cars I've owned, the traction control should do a decent job of helping out in the snow. I'd get the milltek and a set of winter tires. Dave
not sure if it matters to you, but you'll probablynever see any return on the LSD if you decide to sell the car. With the exhaust at least you can keep the stock and hock the miltek when and if you ever decide to let it go. also....i would think the exhaust would be a less invasive modification than the LSD. of course it alsodepends on why you are considering both options anyway. i get the LSD and handling...why the exhaust? and for what its worth i have driven my cayman in the snow...handles very well. granted, its not gonna plow thorough a snow bank like an SUV, but all things considered it handled as well as any front wheel drive car I have ever owned. ice....now thats another story, but nothings gonna save you on ice.
Didn't know LSD is available? Who does the retro-fit & how much?
I'd get LSD over any exhaust but the labor cost will hurt my pockets.
