Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hello Drivers, trying to solve an issue with the parking brake handle on my 987 Cayman. When I parked at work the parking brake handle came straight up with no resistance. Took the console apart and found these parts laying under the parking brake handle. Is the aluminum end just a press fit onto the shaft? I reassembled it but it keeps popping off. Compared to the lower picture I may be missing the flat piece? Any help is greatly appreciated!
