Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

As I await the arrival of my 911, I have been thinking about certain cometic modifications. One of which is the painting the black plastic portions around the front grille and rear portions. One idea is to paint them the color of the car or painting them gloss black. If anyone has any knowledge of doing this, I would like to know if it can be done. I think there is a little texture to the finish of these parts and am concerned of the finish after painting. If anyone has done this, your input and possible pictures would be appreciated.
