Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Took the wheels off for there six month inside cleaning ( yes it's sad I know ) noticed a connector with a lever and rod connected to the lower coffin arm, the connector to the coffin arm had broken and there was no movement in the arm to the connector, this was the rear near side arch. Am I right in thinking this is the headlight levelling? Am also thinking the arm to the connector should move up and down with the coffin arm, but has seized thus breaking the arm connector. Thanks in advance Steve

POST 2Original post

Yup, that's right. I noticed a previous owner has repaired mine with a cable tie. Works fine so I've left it! Presumably if you could free up the arm you could do similar until you replace it (or not!)

POST 3Original post

Yes, Headlight leveling. Probably the little clip at the bottom the grips the coffin arm. This is a crap part even when new.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
