Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It's not a bid, but I'm going to go £18,500
Thank you, I was thinking around that region, I am not really sure about how the rebuild with new liners would impact.
There are a number of 996.1s for sale with similar miles for £12.5k to £17k (though £17k seems the outlier as most are ~£14k). It doesn't look like they've had engine rebuilds and the precise condition is hard to tell but perhaps that gives you some indication.
I'm this market, with aerokit, and assuming everything works, I'd go higher. £19,995 asking and see how you get on.
I'd agree Values of these cars are on the up and you have the desirable early 996.1 (guessing cable throttle?) with aero kit and the substantial engine work. I'd say 20k sounds closer to the mark (as an advertising price) :dont know: GLWS :thumb:
I'm known for always going on the low side however, your car with the engine work £20k and work from there. When you see the price of Friends Green stuff!!!! 20k seems reasonable.
I'd go for a minimum of £18K, possibly fetching £20K with a bit more detail on history etc. It ticks most of the boxes for desirable. I could see a dealer pushing for £20-22K.
£15k The market has stuttered in the last few months.
With the greatest of respect you can ask whatever you want but whether it will sell is another factor. There are lot's of cars currently advertised that have been for sale for several months, I think that the rebuild makes the car more desirable and it should sell quickly at the right price, however it doesn't sound like a £20K car to me. I think £15K should be achievable but the market starts at around £12K and up.
...the market is buoyant...it's an early manual with aerokit and it's enjoyed an engine rebuild... ...it's £20k all day long... ...£15k :floor:
It's done 100K and is silver, look at some of the 996s that are £20K and this won't be one of them :floor:
Thanks all for the advice. Market must be hot as I had a few PMs, someone has viewed today and given a deposit.
:congrats: At what price :?:
Well done :thumb:
