Evening all. Whilst parked up in the wife's Cabrio the other week, in pouring rain (top up!! ) I noticed a small amount of water coming in from the top of the passenger door glass.....it was dripping off the windscreen pillar. As we intended to put the hardtop on fairly soon, I didn't do anything remedial in case it was just a soft-top issue. Anyway, the hardtop's on now. Today, parked in heavy rain, the drip's there again! I'm therefore assuming that its nothing to do with the seal on the softtop, but that its the door aperture seal, which runs up to the top of the windscreen pillar. I can't see any splits in the seal. I've found the part number for it, but am wondering if anyone's fitted a new one themselves. Anything awkward about it at all? Can anyone direct me to the workshop manual instructions for carrying out the job? Thanks in anticipation! Pete

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
