Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've clicked through every Atlanta schematic and I can not find one that shows the passenger footwell and the foam piece that covers all the under-dash stuff. I have a 1999 with no glovebox. The closest I found was this post on a different forum, but the part number says on every site it's not for a 996 ( 1H0819943 ). I've see this before, so it might just fit fine. But there has to be a part diagram out there somewhere with the foam and screw... right? https://porscheforum.com.au/topic/13...nger-footwell/ Closest diagram I can find it: https://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-...=99907316907#a or https://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-...section=809-01 It's only a 75 cent part to gamble on but now I just want to find the diagram!

Am I going crazy? I posted the same URL as I've been scouring that diagram, but I can't find that part on there, nor the text "sound absorber air conditioner". What numbered part is it???

POST 4Original post

Ok well at least I know I wasn't going crazy...I remember looking at that one too, and still no foam part and no screw. But thank you for confirming the part I do need. Happy to get that foam back in place and out of the "to-do" pile of bits and pieces
