Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Have you tried squeezing both blue tabs simultaneously, perhaps push forward too to take pressure off the connection? That’s the first thing I would do, but as you noted don’t force anything because the plastic is brittle.

POST 2Original post

Just my opinion, but please don't start a new thread for every obstacle you run into in your stated project of the Coolant expansion tank replacement. The original thread will serve as a valuable resource for the next guy who has the same issue. Having it all in one place makes it much easier. Sorry I don't have any insight into that project since I have a different engine and a Cayman , and haven't had an expansion tank problem, but I do follow these types of 987 issues. Good luck.

POST 3Original post

My opinion also - and since I can make this happen - I am. This is being attached to the original thread on replacement of the coolant tank.. hang on..
