Re: Heated Rear Window Coming On When Cab Roof Is Dropped My 98 Cab does this. I do know either the previous owner or I damaged the contact ring around the LHS rear roof mounting hole. One of the wires to the ring has snapped off inside the rubber hear shrink and poked back in the heat shrink. Take the rear shelf trim off and have a look. It's only a small wiring harness to a nearby plug so should be easily replaceable. I plan on ordering one soon. Edit - You can only buy the whole hard top receiver mount. At £175 a pop.
