Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Had a fuel overflow while filling up today, first time ever, left a bit of a mess on the bodywork so I washed the car a few hours later when I got home. I was washing the fuel cap area (with the flap open) and think I saw the soapy water seeping into a small hole by the petrol cap. Does anyone know what this is and whether the water (albeit a small amount) would have gone back into the fuel tank? I'd have thought it unlikely but wondered if it was an overflow release hole, which would therefore lead into the tank? Thanks

POST 2Original post

There is a waterdrain in the filler surround to stop water pooling under the flap - if it seeped out, its working. Cayenne and Panameras have a slight issue in that they block readily; sportscars less so Edited by Pope on Thursday 9th October 22:03
