Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Evening all Brand new to the forum, joined up after dipping my toe into the 911 market and buying a low mileage 996 C4S. I've spent quite a bit of time reading through the various threads on here and am in awe of infrasilver and his blow by blow account of stripping down his engine and getting it all back together again. My C4S has the standard 'turbo twist" alloys but i have been offered the ones in the below pic which i am told are 'official" Porsche alloys but i cant seem to find anything on the internet regarding them. Hoping that someone with far more Porsche knowledge than myself will be able to shed some light?

The wheels are listed here. (Sport techno) http://www.944racing.de/wheelweights.php Just be mindful that they are not exact replacements for turbo II wheels and may need spacers. Look good though.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Lovely, thanks both. They are nice looking wheels but part of me wants to keep it all standard but we'll see how it pans out.
