Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

not sure If I have posted this in the right bit of the Forum (apologies Admin if I have). I have the original CDR-23 head unit, Bose CD changer, Bose Subwoofer and Bose amplifier for sale from my 53 plate Targa. The CD changer and amplifier require the fibre optic connections. Offers anyone? PM me.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

it came out of a facelift car with the Bose upgrade. I am unable to comment on whether it is suitable for a pre facelift...the main consideration is that the "cabling" for the CD changer and Bose amp is fibreoptic rather than the standard cables. I assume the CDR-23 headunit is "standard" in terms of installation. Maybe someone else on here can advise or a Porsche specialist.

POST 4Original post

Yep, needs the later can-bus interface to work (so facelift only).

POST 5Original post

And the DME will need coding in order for it to work, or it will need de-coding like Lloyd Six did. http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=40204 You would also need the Gateway to be coded to recognise all the installed items.
