Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just bought a set of alloys from Design911 thru' eBay. Second hand but refurbished (although sadly not very well refurbished) and I plan to stick some winter tyres on them. They were listed as Carrera but look more like Turbo Look 1 to me. They are made in Italy?!? They do have Porsche part numbers stamped on the back, which correspond to correct size wheels in the PET, but I was surprised that they were made in Italy and not Germany. Part numbers are - 993 362 140 04 and 993 362 134 06 Can anyone vouch for these being genuine Porsche? Thanks

POST 2Original post

I'm not sure who makes the Turbo Look 1 wheels, but if it is Speedline, I believe it is an Italian company. If they have the part numbers cast in, I would be surprised if they were not genuine.

POST 3Original post

Sure my Turbo II wheels are stamped: made in Poland.......

POST 4Original post

Those are 18" turbo look wheels for a 996, Genuine Porsche

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks everybody. You've put my mind at rest........winter tyres on the way, then I can look foward to some Sheffield snow.
