As some of you may know I am installing a CDR23 into a pre 2002 car without MOST (optical) The unit is decoded and no longer requires a signal to power up. The issue I have now is now sound, this because the optical is open circuit. There is available (apparently from Porsche) a plug that forms a loop from output to input. once fitted the copper ISO speaker conector becomes live enabling the wiring of non MOST speakers. I need the part number as the Porsche parts dept can not find it on their catalogue. Cheers Lloyd

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It's been mentioned before, but there are two versions of CDR23, one with speaker outputs, the other purely MOST. It would be interesting to know whether a simple 'short' from one pin to another on the CAN-BUS interface would 'enable' the speaker outputs on the ISO interface.
Lloyd I have a fibre optic loop that you can try, if it doesnt work I would like it back though ....PM me :santa:
