Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This small part has broken off my drivers dash vent, it attaches to the back of the slats. Does anyone have one spare or know were i can get one? Carl

POST 2Original post

if you've not lost it they can be clipped back on. I don't think they actually "break" Bit of a fiddle and you have to take the vent out but I've done both sides in mine.

POST 3Original post

As above, if the picture is of your part then it will clip back in to place, fiddly but doable :thumb:

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Picture is my part glued back together but it keeps breaking in half again when i clip it back in :nooo:

POST 5Original post

I don't think they're available separately but check. I though I'd lost one of mine but it had fallen upstream into the ducting. around £30 for a full 2nd hand unit off ebay.

POST 6Original post

:agree: Find a second hand unit from ebay and fit that .

POST 7Original post

I raided a second hand unit in the wrong colour for the clip and found a little set of hook picks were invaluable in clipping the horizontal slats back into it. Took a bit of time to get the first right, but the second took 10 minutes max.
