Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

The reason it's so cheap is it's a 1999 diesel 911. It states it needs an engine and have you EVER seen a diesel 911 engine for sale. They will be hard to find a good one and hard to have the owner give it up. They only made 2 and Ferdie Porsche has the other one, so it might be a good investment if you could get the diesel engine.
The pictures are not the same car.
no scam. That is actually a little high for an auto with a blown engine. $20k for a new crate engine. If it is "blown" due to a cracked head it's probably fixable. Like the old 914 2.0l when they cracked between the intake & exhaust valve seats. If it is IMSB than probably not fixable.
Those 993/996 diesel hybrids are notorious for breaking down.
