For the past couple of days I have noticed a rattling noise that only seems to happen when the car is cold and I take my foot off of the accelerator and am coasting. Once the car warms up it doesn't happen. Some sort of shield possibly? I will be bring the car in for an oil change and winter wheels/tires in a couple of weeks but wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

I can produce the rattle by: (a) shutting the door forcefully (engine off) (b) Rapping on the muffler (either side) when engine is cold and off) not brave enough to do it while warm) (c) idling, the rattle will appear with no other action by me (d) going over bumps at parking lot speed Seems like it is exhaust system reltaed but for the life of I cannot figure out what is causing it. Hate to go to the dealer for this, but may have to...
