Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Y'all, On a 987.2 Cayman, where can I find the label, if it exists, that states the weight of the car? It's not in the driver side door jamb. My trusted specialist doesn't know where it might be. The car is sitting in a garage miles away from me. Before I go and check again, it would be very helpful to know just where I should look. Many thanks, FN

Many thanks, FN The internet suggests 1340kg. Hopefully that's saved you a journey?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nope. For registration purposes I need a photo of the actual label in the car. But I made the trip and found it, so it's all good. The label is on the passenger door jamb, where nobody ever looks...

POST 4Original post

What was the weight? I'm guessing it's the homologated weight (i.e. bare bones no-spec basic)?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It's odd. It first states the maximum allowable weight, and then, what? The maximum loads on the front and rear wheels?
