Hey Guys My LSD from Gripper is being finalised though they asked me what's the number of splines/teeth on the output shaft - 37 or 43? Dont know where to find this info. Car is 1998 Carrera 2 with open diff. Any input much appreciated! Lukas
Sorry I can't help answer your question, but I am interested to know what the answer is, and also what the specs of the Gripper LSD are plus price if you are happy to share?
My output shaft has 9 teeth but I can't find a full picture of all the teeth on the crown wheel so that probably doesn't help much, this is on a 3.6 car.
I've just counted my old open diff and got 43. This is from a 996.1 open diff.
Thanks that's very useful! I have in the meantime cancelled the order with Gripper as they couldnt find out how many teeth and as I'm in Switzerland would need to re-export in case of issues. Anyway now may order again with this info! Price was 1155 GBP (exc. vat) and it was 40/65 with 60Nm of preload, so a trackday/roadcar mix settings. Cheers
