Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I'm not sure what sense does CR have, but I'm 186 cm tall and I have no problem with both the 911 & 981/718. And I can't imagine short drivers would either. Best and Worst Cars for Tall or Short Drivers

POST 3Original post

That's just an example of 10-list click bait...a list that serves no purpose and has no statistical valiidity. Short drivers with long legs or short ones? Tall drivers with short torsos or long ones? Short people with 26" waists or 46" waists? Tall people with 36" shoulders or 52" shoulders? And then the big question...what seats? I suggest Porsches fit most people pretty much the same way other cars do. Well, Except for the Subaru Forester, Volvo XC90 and the BMW 7 Series; those cars apparently are best for short AND tall drivers becuase they have "magic" interiors.

POST 4Original post

" That's just an example of 10-list click bait" +1! My brother-in-law who had to remove the headliner in his 2009 Z06 has no problem in either of my 981B or 991.2 C4S. My wife and daughter, 5'6" have no problems either. I would expect that very short or very tall individuals would have problems with any vehicle. As Posted, the type of seat may influence the result. In my case, both are 18-way.-Richard

POST 5Original post

CR has an agenda. There reviews are biased and thus irrelevant to anyone who knows anything about automobiles.

POST 6Original post

While I disagree with this statement, the survey posted is ridiculous. CR has a value to the mainstream automobile consumer who needs basic transportation. I'm not sure what their agenda might be other than they value things other than performance. They do not cater to the enthusiast. They do caveat the list with the following in this case: "Sports cars by their very nature cater poorly to both extremes: Tall people hit the roof, while short people can't reach the clutch."
