Hi I have a '04 996 Midnight Blue C4S. The color code on the label on the hood is listed as 39C. I have been trying to buy touchup paint for it and the option they give me is code 37W. I even looked at Suncoast Porsche website and what the list as midnight blue shows up 37W. Does anybody know if there is a difference, and if there is why? Is the 39C not available anymore? Is there going to be a difference in the color when I apply it to cover small dents? I previously bought paint for an arctic silver and for that one the label listed 92U and the touchup paint was 92T. in that case at least the number was the same. Thanks

I use Touch Up Paint from PaintScratch.com for my touch up paint. They list your color as follows: Midnight Blue Metallic Clearcoat 39C/F8/E9 for the 2004 model year.

Be careful with any touch-up, it's almost impossible to get the perfect match.....unless you decide to give a whole load more bucks to Porsche .
