Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Looks great. And to the OP who said that 987s look "weird" with anything over 18"..........imagine me doing a rasberry sound with my mouth.
Lol. thank you!
This looks so good. I have the same color and car but with the 17" really itching me now to find a set of 19..
Looks great!
Thank you guys i was worried about them fitting they fit really snug but it clears.
A fine look, and hopefully an even better ride! :burnout:
Looks Great
Thank you for the compliments here is another pic for anyone looking to do the same setup
These look like they were OE on your Boxster , bravo! Who said the Boxsters look weird with 19?

I have 19's Sport design and they look great!Yours do too!
i had posted another post about me questioning them fitting and someone mentioned it would look weird. I forgot their username.
sport design wheels look awesome.
We would like to see the full side view, that will tell if the bigger 19" of 981 proportionates well to a 987. I have that wheel in my 2016 Cayman and I like it very much. It is also the lightest 19" OEM offered among other designs.
If you click on my Budman icon, it will take you to the picture of my 2008 Cayman , a 987.1 , that has had 19 inch wheels since I bought it. I suggest without reading the tire size, one can't tell the difference between an 18" versus a 19", and probably not even if they are side by side.
I found my 18's pretty rough with PS2 tires, not harsh, but needed a softer sidewall to enjoy the car, can you daily drive a 19" Cayman without needing back surgery?
Don't drive it like I used to but I do drive it several times a week with zero problems. I'll be 74 in October by the way. Up until I permanently relocated to Florida two years ago, I would drive it from PA to FL in the fall and back in the spring, a total of 1200 mile each way for 5 years straight, and on many occasions straight through for a 19 hour drive without any problems. Other road trips were into Canada from PA and along the New England area as well. Some was interstate mind you but I found the car to be just as comfortable as my SUV. It was noisier for sure but that's expected.
Sorry for reviving an old thread, 661boxster. I'm looking to do the same on my 987.2 with 19s and 40 profile tyres. Did you manage to run this setup without issues for long? Does that car have PASM ? Thanks
Nice wheels, but your roof with the worn out elastic band, trapped outside the roof arch is a sore to the eyes
