My Porsche design Boxster speed chronograph watchband broke. It’s not an off the shelf watch band. does anyone know a way to get it replaced. Nice watch and hate to never be able to use it again. Local dealer no help.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Have you tried contacting a Porsche Design store? I would think that would be your best bet.
No only the dealer I got it from and I heard the band was made by Swatch and they had no replacement.
You are dealing with a local dealer who possibly sells one watch a year.. if that. Most of them seem to sit in the display cases forever. Porsche Design would be where I'd start looking as @racergreg suggested. Let us know how it works out for you! I have a second generation 1933 Mickey Mouse Ingersoll watch that I very much enjoy wearing but the strap is a bit tight. The lug width is 16mm, which seems to make it a ladies size for watch straps. I've found a 'long' strap from Fullmosa but it's just a hair short for my 7 1/4" wrists and too tight for my Son at 7 1/2". We share watches sometimes. I'm looking for an even longer strap than the Fullmosa. Currently the long end is 4 1/4" and the short end is 3" actual length of leather. I would like something at least an inch longer overall, so at least 8 1/4" I would consider a custom made strap, but not sure where to go. I may consider a custom made cuff style strap in read leather. Any suggestions welcomed. I'm working on getting more of my watches into regular rotation and this one is worth spending something on.
