Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Where can I get parts like the outer cover for the electric seat switch and some new kobs apart from the main dealer any advice would be great

POST 2Original post

Welcome Bob! Some interior trim bits are as cheap tp buy from a Porsche Centre as anywhere else. Most centres will post them to you, so you don't need to actually go in. Always worth giving them a try first. Other sources are Type911 and Design911. If you are looking for second hand bits, try Porsch-Apart.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Richard Many thanks for that help, another point I have is if you fit decat pipes people say the check engine light will always stay on, is that correct Its just cos My car came with a set of spare decat pipes, Many thanks

POST 4Original post

Are they fitted, or do you want to fit them? What model and model year is your car?

POST 5Original post

I just looked up the price for that part. You can only buy it as a complete switch assembly, and it is a whopping £277+VAT!! Like I said - try Porsch-Apart!
