Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hey! Does anyone have a built Cayman? What's the max torque the stock clutch can handle? Also, how much hp/torque can the 6mt tranny handle? Thanks, Aaron

POST 2Original post

You may get some insight from the Rengade Hybrids site. They deal with LS swaps. I seem to remember the S transmissions good for 500-600 hp. Not sure of the torque.

Found it out. Looks like the part number is 987 116 913 37 ( OEM Sachs Clutch Kit for Porsche Boxster S 07-08 Cayman S 06-08 ). And then I found it on Sachs' website: SACHS Performance Clutch Kit - PORSCHE 987 They list the OEM Sachs as 416 lb-ft. There's also a 612 lb-ft version Sachs sells, but I'm not sure how nice it would be on the street... Clutch Kit SACHS Performance -
