Could you scan a pic of it in please? Never heard of this before- is it a 930 converted to a 964 (if that's possible) or a 964 with flatnose bits?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

It is a factory car. Very rare indeed. The X88 engine was approx. £15K option on standard cars. Take a look: www.flachbau.com >> Edited by Ultra Violent on Wednesday 30th October 22:08
Good to see from the site that the Porker boys have taken a leaf out of TVR's books:
some very nice looking cars. I like the flat nose look. I also love the one in black with black wheels. Wicked. very very nice. for sure black wheels and balck paint if i get another porker.
Just glancing through my copy of the latest Porsche Post which dropped on the mat today, and spotted the picture of the "Rare 964 Flatnose" on p60. What's one of those? A turbo judging by the wing etc, but did it come from the factory like this? Can't make my mind up about the looks but it's certainly unusual.
