Hi all, I would be very grateful for any recommendations for an outdoor car cover for my 996T. I will soon be getting a front end stone chip treatment and will probably treat her to an overall spruce up at the same time, so keeping her out of the weather after that might not be a bad idea (now that spring is here - duh). Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Just be mindful that once you have your car all nice and shiny an outdoor cover may damage the paint again due to the cover moving about on the paint?
I bought my outdoor cover from Prestige Car Covers - a Storm Shield Heavy Duty cover. It's 100% waterproof and has a very soft fleece inner lining, it's also breathable. Yes, you do need to be mindful that if you fit the cover to a dirty car you're asking for problems. So I always make sure the car is washed and dried before fitting. Not as good as a garage, obviously, but it keeps fall out, bird dropping, rain, snow and UV off the car. Not cheap but they do work. https://www.prestige-carcovers.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=20&Itemid=14 Mark[/url]
Many thanks for the tips. I hadn't really thought of the potential problems with a car cover, and I am not exactly a frequent car washer. Man know thyself and all that - will I really wash the car each time before putting the cover on? Nope. Maybe some kind of paint protection is what I need. I don't mind spending the money. Cheers
