Thanks BB for your reply. As mentioned, the two rear footwells and under the removable seats are wet as is the drivers side. Left a towel jammed in the rear footwells and checked this morning. Its quite wet but more concerning is the smell. It reminds me of an antifreeze smell. Does anyone know if the radiator pipework actually runs inside the car from back to front? Again, appreciate any help.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

wet rear footwells Hi. I had the same problem. It's the poorly designed drain channels that are blocked and overflowing. It's possible to take the rear wheels off and remove the wheel arch linings and clear it but probably better to pay your garage to do it for around £50. Don't let it get any worse as it will cause serious damage to the electronics under the passenger seat. See other posts here. Dave
My main concern is however the strong smell of antifreeze in the dampness at the rear foot wells which suggests coolant is leaking inside somehow.
