Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • PistonHeads: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Going to view a 997 GT3 on Monday, not the way back there's a conveniently placed 981 GT4 Clubsport that I'm going to look at too, a sort of "look at what else your money can buy" experiment. Apart from nearly buying one new, I really don't have any experience of them at all. The car is privately owned but has a Porsche warranty on it, steel brakes, Clubbie and on the face of it looks decent condition.

rob999 said: Has the .2 3RS been dismissed? It was a 997.1 RS I offered on, in the end we were about £4K apart and the owner decided to take it off the market until spring. In reality I should have just bought it at £97k but it did need a bit of chunky spending on it making it not the bargain it quite appeared to be.
