Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Aloha to all, My 06 987 Boxster S is on it's way to Hawaii. My fabulous wife bought me a Kenwood HU and Bose Fiber Optic Adapter for Christmas. I've searched the forums and online for any info on how to add control buttons to my steering wheel. I've seen pictures of my style steering wheel with 3 buttons on each side, but no luck in finding anything more about how to go about buying and installing these. I would really like hands free operations, especially while shifting my 6 speed gear box. Anyone have any experience or know where to look??

Suncoast sells a kit. Thinking of doing the same on my Boxster.
