Well, just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone on this forum. With a LOT of research, much from here, I finally made a purchase yesterday. I've got myself a 996tt Tip, with 29k on the clock and includes a Porsche warranty. I'm still a bit nervous about spending this kind of money, but hey, you only live once. Although I drove it home yesterday, I'm waiting for the plate transfer before I use it, so it's sat in the garage, grinning back at me as we speak. Funny isn't it, i pressed the pedal a couple of times and thought, yeah fast, but could be faster. Further down the road i pressed it properly - WOW. I'm still grinning. :thumb: Lets hope the DVLA are working overtime, cos I just can't stop smiling.
