Curious if there has been a build that someone installed the 991 headlights (below) onto a 987 boxster/cayman . I'm not sure if the 991 headlights plug in like the 987 ones, but besides the electrical part of it, would it be able to physically fit if the front bumper and fenders were replaced?
I think the shape is different, I doubt they would fit.
Besides replacing the front bumper and fenders, you'll also need the 991 driving lights/turn signals/fog lamps. The 987 head lights have those integrated into one light unit. This will require you to modify your front light harness to split out the lighting.
