Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1499390 Finished up refreshing some 996/986 interior parts in black Alcantara and/or leather that I got listed in the marketplace today if anyone is interested. Also made a L&R set of bolster protectors in leather that will fit the Recaro FIA Pole Positions (may or may not fit similar bucket seats-GT3)

Thanks. Yes, if it is within my current capabilities and I can get the correct materials. Going to get a proper sewing machine when I can get this lot of stuff sold off. Im kind of like Henry Ford right now, I can do any color you want as long as you want BLACK . Have been collecting samples to try to match other factory 996 interior colors in leather or Alcantara, but Ive old found one good Alcantara for the dark blue interiors, IMO.

POST 4Original post

Haha, yeah I need Boxter Red, I contacted GAHH Automotive about a sample of their 974 Boxter red and its a perfect match. Boxster Red How much is your leather center console? I love my interior and its as clean as they come with low mileage, but I would love to add more leather!

POST 5Original post

@cboxell appreciate the skill and craftsmanship! The 996 community certainly needs your skills as the 996 Renaissance continues.

POST 6Original post

Love your work! Too bad you don't do refinishing of yellow/green carbon fiber interior parts. At some point might want to replace it all and the Alcantara is an interesting option

Thanks! Maybe someday @sportlineguy . I actually work in an unrelated composites industry as my day job, so I know how to refinish it. Its just so labor intensive for all the sanding and prep work to redo it really nice.

POST 8Original post

@cboxell d oes AMAZING work. His removal and renovation consultation, and 996 interior knowledge is top notch. I have 4 of his reconditioned parts, a leather covered center console with a Alcantara lid. A full Alcantara Ebrake handle too. From a perfectionist engineers perspective his refurbishments are extremely satisfying... every single time I get in my car.

POST 10Original post

Impressive work. Would you refinish a Speedo binnacle cover?

Sure. Did one in black Alcantara for my own interior refresh over the summer. Kills all reflective glare

POST 12Original post

Damn fine work! I'll probably be in touch closer to Spring/Summer.
