Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone have any expereince of the 996 SACHS clutch kits? They are cheaper than the Porsche ones (are the porsche ones made by porsche? e.g. Bosch make the porsche headlights for them) http://www.forestfine.net/clutch-kit-996-34l---2001-821-p.asp I will need a new clutch in the near future, anyone used them, I know that Sachs is a respected manufacturer in its own right in teh Auto Industry

POST 2Original post

Sashs are a respected parts supplier in view that clutch parts are reliable (and rarely covered under warranty ?) seems an good choice how much cheaper over the Porsche OEM (although I wonder who makes the OEM Clutch) also available and slightly cheaper from DESIGN911 and the PORSCHESHOP

POST 3Original post

The RS 993 clutch, does anyone else do one of those cheaper?? What about the lightweight flywheel?? :dont know:
