Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this on their Caymans... It seems like the rear trunk lid on my CS is mounted off center. When closed, the gap from the edge of the lid to the body (c pillars) is narrower on the left side than the right side. (Was that description clear? If not I can try and get a picture.) I'm a little worried that this can lead to scratches in the paint (as facelvega observed), and I'm also wondering if this is related to all the noise that comes from the trunk.

POST 2Original post

It should be even on both sides... Take it back to the dealer and have them re-align it. brad
