Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all - long time lurker, first time poster. Nice to be part of this community. I recently acquired my first Porsche - a 2002 996 C4S with X51 Option in Arctic Silver, Metropole Blue interior and manual transmission. The car was originally delivered in the UK and made its way to Australia in 2010. The car came with an extensive history, a huge folder full of paperwork dating back to the first owner. Amongst the paperwork were some magazine clippings of an identical C4S. The magazine is Total 911. I was able to match the vehicle registration plate in the photos to import paperwork found in the folder. The 996 in the magazine is my 996! Naturally, I'd love to track down a copy of the magazine. Unfortunately, I have no idea which "issue" my car was featured in. So far, I have reached out to Total 911 (no help) and previous owners (also no help). Here's a link to an online gallery: 996 Carrera 4S photos - Total 911 I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. Any Total 911 collectors or sleuths here that can assist?

Have you tried reaching out to Philip Raby and Total 911 Magazine?

Total 911, yes. They cant help because its an early issue. I have yet to hear back from Phil Raby.

That's the best option at this time. I've extracted text and did a search online, but nothing came up. Internet Archive search might be another option.

Found it! Phil got back to me. Total 911 - Issue 55. And I managed to find a copy locally, too!

HELLO! I am searching for the same information for my car as it was also featured in Total 911 magazine. Do you have the contact information on the persons you reached out to for assistance? Thanks!
