Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Thanks James I will get onto it right away.
Hi, I'm new to this forum and was drawn here to ask a very specific question that might be covered in one of these books suggested. I'm looking to buy a 1988 or 1989 Turbo 911 Targa. I have found there are very hard to come by. Does anyone know how many were produced with the normal headlights (not slant nose)? Was it offered in the US? BTW, I own Porsche 911 Road Cars by Dennis Adler which provides a general timeline with details on select models, you might want to check that book out as well. Thanks.
58 registered in the UK. Not sure about the US. For facts on turbos go to the PCGB website and look at the "Turbo" register. There are some Acrobat files with all the tech data in. Cheers, James
Just a quick one, thinking of buying a 911 at the moment and am really looking to buy a book that tells me all about them and what to look for. I know they have been mentioned before but just can't seem to find out the names of writers and where I can buy them. Thanks in advance.
