Hello! 've an issue on the pad timing chain the one wich is enter The two sprokets on bank 1. It's broken and one part goes in the timing chain and make my intake camshaft Bank 1 jump one tooth but in advance... Very strange. 've seen on many post that there is only closed chain avable for the m96. But during m'y research i 've found some informations.. the chain seems ti b a d67zn chain. Like all other 911 an many german car. So master link for thoses chains are avable in iwis and febi brand. Am'i true? Because if it's true you just have to buy a 996 timing chain, open it, and put a d67zn master link. Regards

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

No one uses the master links anymore....too many of them failed by having the clips get knocked off and destroying the engines...
