Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I haven't done either of these yet but I intend to. 1. I have a leather key ring with a 3cm tall metal, coloured crest that I purchased from Porsche shop for about £10, at the weekend my girlfriend purchased me a different type key ring off Ebay the weekend so I'd better be seen using it as apposed to the leather one. Rather than sling it in a draw and forget I had it I have thought of a new use. In front of the gearshift you have a small plastic part beneath the climate control or cubby hole known as the batwing. I am going to remove the metal crest from the key ring and affix it to the batwing. 2. Have you ever noticed how ugly the cats and clamps look below the rear bumper? I tried painting mine a few weeks back with Mat-Black manifold paint but still looks scruffy. What I am going to do is locate a sump guard, preferably the type with holes. I will bend this in such a way that it curves from the inside edge of the bumper round to the sump hiding all the ugliness! I will take photos when I'm done. Lloyd 6

POST 2Original post

Hi Lloyd 6, with the number of mods you keep coming up with, there'll be a queue of us less able 911uk folk beating a path to your home in Worcs. Beware! ~ Maxie :thumb:

POST 4Original post

I hope you don't lose sight of the kerb weight with all your mods. I have recently added an OPC warning triangle, pencil tyre pressure gauge and handy top-up oil/zippy bag combination to the spare wheel well area for completeness (I have no intention of using them, but they are mentioned in the users manual) And as Maxie already knows, I have also recently added a CD holder (erm, because I didn't have one). And yes Maxie, I do actually use it (How I envy you facelifters with glove boxes!) As much as they may add points at Pebble Beach, they're still 2kgs extra I don't need to carry!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My body weight was fluctuating over 5 kilos per week but now I am back at the gym it is staying low, I hate passengers as they only moan at my driving habits, I can't afford to keep the tank full of fuel as I'm saving to but a bigger house and erm I have had my hair cut... all this added up I should have lost quite a bit of weight, certainly enough to add my toys and gadgets!

POST 6Original post

Crikey, you had disentry or a hormone imbalance? 11+ pounds a week fluctuation you should see a doctor! I hate passengers as well, but not for the extra weight, mostly fiddling with my head unit sound settings, closing the door and leaving sweaty/greasy paw prints on the glass or paint (what is wrong with the handle?) and slamming the door as if it were some nuclear bunker seal.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Girlfriend just wet herself reading that... (I went nuts on Sunday, she almost turned the car inside out when closing the door!!)
