... no, it was no scam, and the car is just lovely and came with a recent HPI. I'm told I can put it on a "Q" plate if by chance the police notice that the engine should be in the back and start being awkward. AND I didn't pay full asking price, the seller had poor negotiating skills and knocked over £500 off her already low price. There's one born every minute, apparently!
