My head is still spinning. I have just put a deposit down on an absolutely lovely Black 996TT at RSJ's. Got to say Joel is a top bloke and certainly knows his onions. His dealership is absolutely spotless and his customer service is fantastic. I can't stop thinking about it and can't wait to collect her next week. Can't believe my first Porsche is going to be a Turbo. It's mad to think I'm joining the 996TT fold and can't wait to take her on some European road trips!!!!!!! Once i have it I will post some pic's. James

Welcome to another soon to be Porsche addict ... you going to be grinning from ear to ear everytime you get in the car
Hi James, Happy times ahead, you wont regret this purchase. I bought my first Porsche last April and mine is a 996TT also. You will have a big grin every time you drive it. And welcome to the madhouse by the way!! They are a great bunch on here and very helpful with tons of collective knowledge. Regards, Ian
Lucky boy. Enjoy! Looks the one to own from what I have seen of the ad. The feeling you have now will not go away! "Go placidly amid the Scoobies and evo's and remember what peace ther may be in Porsche ownership" SHINE don't know where that came from? :envy:
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your first Porsche. Trouble with getting a turbo as a first car though is that there is not really any place to go after. I am sure some of the weirdy beardy types on here will disagree though
Welcome to 911uk James. 996 TT as a first 911 - :worship:
Congrats. I assume they didnt have a 993 then?
jammy twat!!!!!
Thanks for the warm welcome fellas  I absolutely cant wait. My present car gets picked up tomorrow morning and although it will be really missed (Hugh fun), I can't get the Turbo out of my head. Bring on next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jim
Welcome Saucyboy! Of course you will need to put pics up. What spec have you bought? ~ Maxie
I bought the 52 reg Basalt Black 996tt from RSJ's. Spec wise, it's standard and has the sport seat option, which I really wanted after coming from a Noble. I just want to pick it up now!!!! Will let you all know once it's safely in my possession next week. Jim
996 turbo hi saucyboy,is it the 44k mile manual? if it is,they brought that car from me a couple of weeks ago.I owned that car for 3 years, have they extended the warranty?
Saucyboy is luckyboy welcome and enjoy! Ray :bye:
Re: 996 turbo That's the baby. The Official Porsche warranty runs out this week I think. However, it will come with Joel's warranty for the first 3 months and then its up to me about what I want to do from there. Did it give you any problems whilst you had it, as the history looks good? The front has been re painted to get rid of stone chips and it looks fantastic. It's being serviced during the week and hopefully I pick it up mid week!!!!!! Jim
Might be safer for you to get them to give you OPC warranty instead, a lot easier to do now than when it's run out next week, just a thought............................ Ray uh:
