Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I'm after a 996tt and have found a 2002 model I quite like, but the Sat Nav disc is damaged. Does anyone know where/how I get a replacement one? Also, is it possible to connect my Ipod? Many thanks.

POST 2Original post

The discs do come up on Ebay from time to time at a reasonable price but they are expensive from Porsche I believe they are about £300 but dont quote me.You cannot copy them as I tried to do with mine as a back up. There are different versions I believe for the PCM 1's (which I think yours will be if it has a cassette hole in the top) and PCM 2's and there are I believe no later maps than about 2003/4. It is often worth buying the whole set for Europe if you go abroad, there are I believe 5 discs in total, but be sure to get the correct one for the UK if you are buying just one. I hope this helps it is only what I have learnt from my own experience.Good luck.
