True, but apparently it's missing, been running fine and it doesn't just fall out, very suspicious :dont know: Anyway, it's about a £15 part, but £150 to find it missing :evil: Enough said...

To with emissions control on start up, to quote from the the Streater book. When engine is started in temp range between -10.5C and +45C the secondary air system is activated for a period of time. Purpose to inject fresh air into exhaust gas flow during start up. The oxygen enrichment is designed to speed up the chemical reaction inside the cats to get them to operating temp. quicker
