Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is anyone handy with Photoshop? Thinking of a little project on the Spyder. I was wondering what it would look like with the windscreen surround wrapped in a black finish. I think it would look quite effective with roof on or off. I think it would trick the eye into making the car look lower and would really highlight the humps. Just think it would suit it, especially on white spyders. Then I'd be tempted to either get just black painted or carbon fibre wing mirrors. Carbon fibre, purely because I love the look of it, not for some weight saving belief. Thanks in advance if someone is able to mock a picture up.

who needs photoshop, just go for it with a felt pen. there are some good Spyder pictures to work on at netcarshow.com

KMF said: who needs photoshop, just go for it with a felt pen. there are some good Spyder pictures to work on at netcarshow.com Ha ha... Very true though. Maybe low tech research is the answer! Found a local place that does wraps, might seek out a quote. At least if it doesn't look great or I get bored of it, it can all be easily reversed.

POST 5Original post

who needs high tech, when i did my Spyder Martini stripes that is how i did the drawings. i printed pictures from that web site and set to with felt pens. i did do the martini logos on the door and the bonet stripe with photoshop but could not manage the side stripes

I didn't realise the RS60 had this, but yes, that's the look. I did some mocking up on a model this morning and think it will look good. Going investigate pricing for Matt black wrap.

Isn't plasti-dip where it's at nowadays? Saves letting some cowboys near the car with scalpels & easy enough to do yourself (apparently)

POST 10Original post

yep i've seen plasti-dip. think it may give the effect you want, then just peel if off if it's not too your liking
